Hi everyone

And three cheers – this is the time to invite you to come over to my new blog, which you will see isn’t that different. It is the approach that is going to be different.

Yes, we think we have conquered the IT issues. But do bear with, as who knows!

And here is the link to the new blog – Click HERE

Click on this link and come right over!  The big test for the new blog is the Subscribing. As you know it would be lovely if you can put your email into the Subscribe button area. Then, as it is a 2-action process, you receive an email into your in-box asking you if you want to subscribe. Click on that and hey presto you are subscribed 😀

The big test will be the next post on Conversations as we won’t know if the subsequent Jetpack email to you works until we actually do it. Fingers crossed!

I will post on this Frugal blog for several weeks telling you about new posts on Conversations but I will stop doing that eventually.

Much love to you all

Penny

Hust tried to follow instructions and this happened:

    Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead

Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to http://www.conversationswithanolderwoman.co.uk. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details.

What can you do about it?

The issue is most likely with the web site, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it.

If you are on a corporate network or using antivirus software, you can reach out to the support teams for assistance. You can also notify the web site’s administrator about the problem.

    I stopped there. Mary

OMG Mary – have replied directly to your email but it might be a browser problem. So far you are the only person to report a problem out of over 300 successful subscriptions.

Hope you can sort it out – really do

Thank you so much – subscribing to the new site was straightforward!

I have a question please, it relates to a previous Frugal blog. You said, I believe that you have a favourite (designer?) charity shop in London. I am visiting the capital later in the year but cannot remember the name of the shop or it’s location. Please can you advise me as I’d like to visit the shop!
Many thanks for your years of blogging – I really enjoy them, but this is my first reply to you.

Hi – I tried to subscribe to Conversations, but despite three attempts I still have not received the link to confirm.
Moreover, the Comments section has been telling me there are no comments, which I find odd after a whole week.
I tried to comment, and received the following message :
forbidden – number in author name not allowed = joyfullyd62ffba5e0

Can you advise me how to proceed
In case it helps Mr F, I have a MacBook and my browser is Firefox.

I am really looking forward to Conversations, but if I can’t read the comments it will be frustrating!

    All the best xx

Oh Lizzie-Ann, I am so sorry. I have forwarded your comment to Mr F and he will look at it immediately.

It must be no consolation but only one other person has had a problem – that’s the commenter above, Mary Evans Young and she eventually managed it. Otherwise I have over 300 subscribers now.

Again so sorry – I will reply as soon as we have an answer

I think I’ve subscribed, Penny! I look forward to the new blog. I did try to leave a comment on it, but I got an error message. Maybe because I did it before subscribing?
