    An unsuitable dress?

    An unsuitable dress?

Last week I bought a dress from a charity shop for £8. It caught my eye as the material was pretty and, joy of joys, it still had its original store label, so it was unworn, it was new.  Wow!

The blessings of friendship – and cold weather!

Hello I do like winter weather. Well, I qualify that, as we’re just at the beginning of winter and we’ve not had weeks of that grey damp (gets in your bones) weather that we have here in the UK. Today

    About Me

My name is Penny, I am 78 years old and I live in Lewes, East Sussex. My reasons for writing a fashion blog is that I have built up a great wardrobe on very little money mainly because I buy from charity shops.

So my blog will feature the clothes I have found since I retired, and the clothes that I continue to find in my local charity shops. From time to time I will also comment on issues around women and ageing.
