    A tale of 3 outfits

    A tale of 3 outfits

I do make mistakes when buying clothes.  Sometimes I have a really good sense of what looks right, and then all of that goes out of the window and I buy something that I’m not at all happy with.  Anyway, this

    Hatwalk 23 – May 2017

I notice that some Stateside bloggers are already talking about wearing warm weather clothes and featuring sleeveless tops.  Wow!  That’s so not the case here!  We do have days when it’s sunny and there’s a blue sky, but even though

I’ve talked about de-cluttering a lot lately.  Most of you know I’ll be moving soon to a small 2-bedroomed flat (or apartment as you might call it). I’ve been really good at sifting through so many things and not just

Great looks and new finds for April!

Hi everyone As you know, I’m moving to a much smaller place and, therefore, de-cluttering and downsizing big-time.  I’ve been so good.  Loads of clothes, ornaments and kitchen crockery, plus other things, have gone to charity shops to be recycled

Gosh, I’ve been feeling a bit stressed. I’ve been sleeping badly and my IBS has returned.  It’s the move, which is going a bit wobbly.  It could get resolved fairly soon, but at the moment I don’t know where we’ll

    About Me

My name is Penny, I am 78 years old and I live in Lewes, East Sussex. My reasons for writing a fashion blog is that I have built up a great wardrobe on very little money mainly because I buy from charity shops.

So my blog will feature the clothes I have found since I retired, and the clothes that I continue to find in my local charity shops. From time to time I will also comment on issues around women and ageing.
