Hello everyone There will  be more about this at the end of the month but today (Monday 29th March) some of the severe restrictions we’ve been living under since Christmas are being removed, and we can now visit other people

It’s time to get out those Spring jackets!

It’s mid-March, which is about the time we get very mixed weather here in the UK. Sometimes it’s freezing and when I read of other bloggers who live in the northern hemisphere having temperatures reaching 70F (that’s 21C to us

    Looking back, looking forward

Hello again I wonder if you’re like me, and find yourself saying, ‘when we can, we’ll go out to…….’ (fill in assorted details of different places and experiences). More about that wish in the next post as we might indeed

Here’s to better things to come!

Hi everyone Got my vaccination done last Wednesday and, my word, the whole roll-out of vaccines in the UK is an incredibly efficient operation, and that, of course, is because it was not outsourced to an expensive private sector contractor

    About Me

My name is Penny, I am 78 years old and I live in Lewes, East Sussex. My reasons for writing a fashion blog is that I have built up a great wardrobe on very little money mainly because I buy from charity shops.

So my blog will feature the clothes I have found since I retired, and the clothes that I continue to find in my local charity shops. From time to time I will also comment on issues around women and ageing.
