The blog exists to communicate and connect with a community of people who love fashion and life. It is a vehicle for Penny Kocher to write posts and communicate with her readers. It is not a vehicle for selling anything and the blog does not share or sell any information belonging to people who read and comment on this blog.
However, it does collect data. The privacy statement below outlines how this data is stored and what your rights are.

Frugal Fashion Shopper (“FrugalFashionShopper“) operates frugalfashionshopper.co.uk. It is FrugalFashionShopper’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating this blog.
Blog Visitors – readers
Like most blogs, FrugalFashionShopper collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the referring site, and the date of each reader visit.
FrugalFashionShopper’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how FrugalFashionShopper’s readers use the blog (e.g. what is the most popular day for reading this blog). FrugalFashionShopper could release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its blog but has not done so, apart from occasionally making a reference to how many visitors/followers the blog has.
Blog Visitors – commenters
FrugalFashionShopper also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of users leaving comments on the frugalfashionshopper.co.uk blog. FrugalFashionShopper does not use and disclose this information such as the commenter IP addresses and email address. These can only be seen by the administrators of the blog, who are Penny and Bill Kocher.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Visitors to the blog can read posts on this blog and not sign up, but that means they will not receive notice of the weekly blog posts written by Penny Kocher. To notify people of these posts, we ask visitors who sign up at frugalfashionshopper.co.uk to provide an email address. But visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging with the weekly posts.
FrugalFashionShopper does not disclose this personally-identifying information other than as described below:
- FrugalFashionShopper may collect statistics about the behaviour of visitors to its website.
- FrugalFashionShopper may display this information publicly but only as a reference to the number of followers and/or visitors.
However, FrugalFashionShopper does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below:
